Restrictive trading practices and commercial negotiations

Annual negotiations, significant imbalance, abrupt termination: a distinct area of litigation, with its own courts and time limits.

French restrictive trading practices law governs supplier–retailer relationships well beyond the contract itself: advantages with nothing in return, significant imbalance, abrupt termination of an established business relationship, and the terms of sale and single framework agreement required by the Egalim laws.

We help businesses prepare for the annual negotiation round and draft their terms, then act in the disputes that follow, before the specialist courts or during a DGCCRF investigation. In May 2026 we obtained a judgment for AgoraPulse finding partial abrupt termination and significant imbalance against a global platform.
